Easter Rockin

It is nearly the end of term and Easter is coming soon....we can't wait!
On Thursday, it is the last day of term and we are looking forward to an amazing Easter assembly , Easter egg hunt and a Easter parade.

Literacy

This week we have started our playscripts of Roald Dahls (magnificent story) Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Don't forget to go to Parents Evening the Thursday.

Easter

Next week is the Easter Parade and your child has been asked to make an Easter bonnet for the parade and don't forget the holidays start on the 2nd of April 2010 and we come back on the in 2 weeks or if its not correct you can check on one of the paper which might be sent out or you might have it already. If you get letters by email it will be on your inbox.

PRODUCTION

Year 4's production Greece Goes To Pieces is going to be showed on Tuesday the 30th of march at night and Wednesday the 31st in the afternoon.

Parents Evening

Busy times

Our days have been getting busier each day from our production which will be shown on Tuesday 30th of March. It will be grateful if you will be able to come to our production.

Henri Rousseau

We have begun sketching our Henri Rousseau's jungle scene . We have planned it and now we are on our A3 sheet. 4/5s of the sheet has to be covered in greenery.

New person

This week a new blogger has arrived named Fardeen.

Literacy

In literacy we are focusing on Play scripts which are scripts in TV programmes, weather forecasters, news e.g.Eastenders, the suite life

Art

This term for Art we are looking at an artist called Henri Rousseau who started his career when he was 40. People used to not like his drawing but now lots of people respect and look at his peace of art.

New Topics and Maths Week

This week is maths week and today we made fruit cocktails which tasted very very yummy.

In Science we have a new science topic which is Circuit and Conductors. If you try to make a circuit work without a battery the object which your trying to turn on wont work.

In Literacy we have been looking at persuasive texts and videos that persuave us to do something like buy it or go somewhere.
